This is the form to contact Homes for Huskies if you feel you need to surrender your dog. We are not here to judge, and collect this information to make the process as seamless as possible, and stress-free for the dog.
Often, we don’t have enough foster carers, and while we will do our best to move your dog as quickly as we can, we will ask if you can hold the dog in the short term. If you can’t, that’s ok, we may need to work with a shelter in the interim.
If you purchased your dog from a registered breeder, please contact them first. Most reputable breeders will take their dogs back or assist with rehoming.
A few items to note:
- You cannot surrender a dog that isn’t yours, and you need to be the legal owner.
- All Homes for Huskies dogs will be desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and flea & worm treated prior to rehoming.
- We ask for full disclosure so we can do our best for the dog.
- As ask that one of our assessors meet with the dog so we can understand him or her better.
