Best Qualities: Roxy is a gorgeous 4 yr old Siberian Husky who has the sweetest temperament and just loves being with you, she is a very soft , happy girl who will be as loyal as the day is long.
Medical: Roxy was surrendered to a vet, due to her owner not being able to care for her in the way she is used too. She had been in a friends care and when the owner discovered her with fly bitten ears and fleas he took to the vets for help, where we were contacted and he surrendered her to us. Roxy has been a very loved pet prior to her ending up in this state and we’d love to settle this girl into her home. Apart from these things she’s a happy healthy girl.
House Training: Roxy settles quickly into new environments and is very respectful around the house, she is toilet trained and knows basic commands. Roxy is crate trained and is very content and crashes out very quickly in there.
Doggie Diplomat: Roxy is very non fussed about dogs , she seems quite happy to be around them but doesn’t overly interact with them.
Small Dogs? Although she is not suited to small dogs.
Playful: Roxy loves to play fetch with a ball or toy and does her happy zoomies.
Bath and grooming: She good to bath
Road Trip Ready: great passenger in the car.
Walks: Is ok on lead and is very neutral when seeing other dogs on lead.
Roxy is a darling and just wants to be loved , she is not needy and is quite happy to just chill with you and relax. Roxy is a quiet girl, she only seems to howl when very excited, particularly when you come home. She will be an amazing addition to most families, single person , couples , she is a delight.
Roxy currently has fly blown ears which are settling nicely with treatments and are they looking a lot better already in just a short time of treatment. She has missing fur on areas of her body from a heavy flea burden. She has been flea treated, so we hope to see her fur begin to grow back quickly.
The usual husky rules apply, with no cats or pocket pets, plus secure 5ft+ dig proof fences, lots of love and daily exercise. Please complete an application if you can offer foster or adoption to Roxy.
