Well, Texas is giving Brad Pitt a run for his money in the looks department. His piercing blue eyes, very dark black and white coat ensures he stands out in a crowd!

Texas is nine years young with many more marvellous years to offer his new people, and is supposed to be a husky / malamute cross, but with that incredible dark coat, who knows? He needs a new foster or furever home through no fault of his own.

Texas has won us all over, as he’s such a playful boy and loves hanging out with people. He is a really good boy and he’s not destructive or an escape artist. He loves to be near his people and, given a chance, snuggle up in bed with you if you allow it, otherwise he will sleep on the floor near your bed.

Texas loves a good brisk walk every day (don’t we all?) and is a bouncy, chonky boy when he’s excited, but once that walk it out of the way, he’s a pretty chill chap.

Texas has all the appropriate manners, such as being house trained (if the door is shut and he needs to go in and out, he knows to politely ask), manageable on lead / harness, and his foster people say he’s a typical Arctic who will do tricks when he thinks he’s going to get something he wants! Texas knows sit, drop and shake, and ‘stay’ is a bit of a work in progress.

Texas gets along with other dogs but we feel he would love being the center of attention in an only dog household. He is happiest having his humans close by at all times and less alone time. He is a gentle boy who really deserves some TLC.
