Scout is a playful, affectionate pup who is bursting with energy and personality. Still very much a puppy, he thrives on attention and is looking for a home that can provide him with structure, training, and plenty of love.
Training: Fully house trained and familiar with basic commands (sit, stay, wait) though consistency and continued training will help him shine.
Sleeping habits: Loves to sleep beside your bed at night and will happily curl up on any available spot during the day
Feeding: Enjoys his Savourlife puppy food, one cup twice daily
Vocal: Growing more vocal as he matures, but not an excessive barker.
Personality & Behaviour: Scout is a true “puppy steam train” on walks – full of enthusiasm and eager to explore the world. With more training, his leash manners will improve. He loves to play fetch (always brings the ball back, even if he doesn’t always hand it over!) and tug-of-war, showing surprising strength for his size. Like many puppies, he’s still teething and will chew when bored, but with toys at hand, he’s very good at sticking to the right things.
Social Life: Dogs: Currently lives with two adult Huskies and understands their hierarchy. He has limited exposure to other dogs outside his home but shows potential to adapt well with more socialisation.
Kids: Wonderful with children (ages 3–13), though his size and excitement can mean an enthusiastic knock-over at first. He settles quickly and becomes the perfect playmate.
Dog park: Loves the freedom to run and play, with endless energy to burn. With training, he will learn to manage his excitement around new dogs.
Other Notes: Not phased by thunderstorms and enjoys being outside in the rain. Travels well in the car when harnessed, though he hasn’t had much experience yet. Ideal Home: He’d love a home where someone is around most of the time, whether that’s a work from home family or a retiree. Another playful doggy friend would be great as that would keep him company if his humans are full time workers. He’d also be happy as the only pet soaking up all the attention. Scout is ready to give his forever family all his love, loyalty, and playful energy. With some one-on-one training and structure, this big-hearted boy will grow into the most wonderful lifelong companion.
