Calling active households needing an additional fur buddy! Introducing Frost, a very handsome Husky lad with bright blue eyes and all the love for both doggy siblings and perhaps even more so his humans. He currently lives with foster parents and 3x fur foster siblings (2x male, 1x female huskies) and is ready for rehoming preferably to a family with a fur sibling or two to keep him company.
Frost is, naturally, very energetic and he loves nothing more than being with humans, snuggling or playing, and keeping close by. Be prepared for lots of supervision – where you go, he goes… He would adore a household where he can burn off all that natural husky energy – walkers, runners, hikers. He enjoys a daily morning walk as a minimum. He does love his people, and would love to spend all day with them, so a canine or human companion during the day would be ideal. He’s slowly adjusting to periods of time left at home now that the humans are transitioning back to work at the office – a work in progress for this slightly anxious boy. He’s also vocal enough to let you know when he’s not getting enough of something!
Frost is house trained and has enjoyed some training along his journey – come, sit, shake, wait (feeding time), bed – but like most, still has room for more training and improvement and he’d love his new people to continue working with him on that. He’s a very loving dog, very motivated by food and treats and will keep you on your toes and provide so much laughter to your household.
Frost is good around other similar sized dogs, and with love, care and attention there’s no doubt he will make a great addition to his new family. If you are looking for an active, loving and cheeky over-sized lap dog he will be your best friend. Frost has had limited time with children. When exposed he appears inquisitive, but gentle thus far.
The usual husky rules apply, with no cats or pocket pets, secure 6ft dig proof fencing, and lots of love and activities. ~ Not available for interstate adoption ~ Not suited to apartment or rural
