Walks Koda will pull on the lead at first and then after a few moments, will calm and walk beside you. Koda has been trained to walk on a lead and just needs that initial energy out.
Chatterbox: Will talk on request but otherwise is a quiet woofer
Weather Warrior: Koda is not fearful of the weather
Playful Koda loves to play with other humans and her friend Dash.
Kid-Friendly Potential Koda is kid friendly and has had children in the house, however she loves to kiss faces and will jump up to reach a child’s face which can be frightening for a child. Suited to older children with dog experience.

Small Dogs? Koda is socialised and can be around other dogs big and small.
Road Trip Ready Koda does well in the car, but can sook on long drives, regular breaks would help.
House Training Koda is house trained and knows to go outside if there is a doggy door.
Bath and grooming Koda does not like to be bathed or groomed and will cry and try to get away. This makes it difficult to have her groomed, or bathe her yourself
Sweet Slumber: Koda likes to sleep on a bed, however anything with stuffing will be destroyed and ripped apart as she enjoys ripping things up as a form of play.
Foodie’s Delight Koda loves ALL people food, but can be a very fussy eater. Koda will eat if she’s hungry, but get’s bored with food easily so you need to mix it up.
Extra info Koda is a bit of a Houdini and likes to get out of her collar/harness on walks by stopping, allowing you to keep walking, so that the harness/collar slides up and over her head leaving her free to run. Koda is best on a full body harness to avoid her Houdini-ing free. Koda will escape if her friend Dash escapes.

Walks Dash will pull on the lead at first and then after a few moments, will calm and walk beside you. Dash will keep trying to walk ahead and fret if Koda her friend, is ahead of her. They need to walk side by side.
Chatterbox: Dash will bark regularly at her surroundings, she likes to talk to birds and passerby’s, if she cannot see the road/world around her from a window or yard fence, it keeps her quieter. Dash will bark for breakfast and dinner as she’s very aware of when her food is coming!
Weather Warrior: Dash is not fearful of the weather but does get very hot with her warm coat, on hot summer days.
Playful Dash loves to play and is an eternal puppy without the toilet accidents or destruction. Dash will always be such a joy and light in your life, she just want’s to be where the humans are.
Kid-Friendly Potential Dash is kid friendly and has had young children in the house, however she loves to paw people as her form of saying hello, with her long nails this means she can unintentionally scratch her humans which can be upsetting for children. Dash means no harm, and older children can understand and anticipate her ‘paw’ing by shaking her hand or patting her.
Energy: Dash is medium energy, she can match high energy if you need a new running buddy… although be ready for some serious competition or she will chill out near by you while you watch your favorite movie. Dash is happy as long as you are, high energy or low energy, she doesn’t need anything more than your company.
Doggie diplomat Dash is very gentle, loving and maternal towards other animals. Dash even loves her soft toys, caring for them and licking them in her paws. Small Dogs? Dash is socialised around other animals and is very gentle.
Cat & Pocket Pets Not suited
Road Trip Ready Dash can go on a long or short road trip, she is just happy wherever you are.
House Training Dash is house trained and knows to go outside if there is a doggy door and will ask if no dog door
Bath and grooming Dash does not love being groomed, this is a learnt behaviour from her friend Koda. Dash will often get upset at being ‘blow dried’.
Sweet Slumber: Dash would prefer to sleep on a bed that keeps her cool, so big fluffy beds are not suitable with her thick coat.
Foodie’s Delight Dash loves food, all food people food, treats, anything! Food is her favourite part of the day.
Dash likes to be where the people are, even if that means the people are beyond the fence! Dash is very intelligent and often underestimated, she will dig her way out under a fence with only a small space to fit her big body through. Dash’s name wasn’t picked unintentionally, once she’s on the run she’s hard to catch as she’s incredibly fast! She won’t respond to her name, but further training may help. Dash will also take opportunities to run if things like the garage door is accidentally left open.
The usual husky rules apply, with no pocket pets, plus secure 6ft+ dig proof fences, lots of love and daily exercise. Please complete an application if you can offer adoption to Dash & Koda
