We’ve sometimes heard it said that huskies are dogs running on cat software, and petite Luna appears to have that feature down pat. In typical husky style, Luna enjoys a chat when greeting people, likes a sun-bake during hot weather and loves watching nature tv (aka staring at birds in tree sand small animals.)
Luna is a beautiful black and white girl with one blue and one brown eye, who is looking for a new furever home through no fault of her own.
She’s petite, around 20kgs, and has been described as a bit of an ‘old soul’. Luna loves a cuddle or scratch when she wants it and sometimes prefers to have her own space to curl up and snooze. She’s around 6.5 years old, so has years and years of love to give, and has also settled down, so no puppy / teenager tantrums or energy here!
Luna doesn’t care about storms, will dig herself a sitting hole, and is used to sleeping inside and being able to move in and out as she pleases.
Like any husky in a new environment, Luna will require lots of love and attention as well as understanding and patience. Luna has had general dog training, as well as husky specialist training and in typical husky style, generally ignores the commands she understands perfectly well.
When she’s in her new home, she will need to decompress and relax before she’ll open up, but she’s affectionate, like shorter walks, is good on lead, good with kids, and socialises with other dogs on her own terms.
