Are you looking for husky perfection? Then you simply must check out the beautiful red Nala, a four-year old female Siberian Husky who needs an urgent new home through no fault of her own (one of her people has developed pet allergies).
One of the H4H assessment team members has been to meet her and had this to say, “Nala is a beautiful little husky girl. She’s obviously very well looked after and loved. She has good manners and knows how to sit and give the paw. There is a touch of cheeky about her, but that’s huskies isn’t it!?”
Nala loves human interaction, cuddles, and massages. She can be cheeky and sometimes stubborn. In typical husky style, Nala is energetic, independent, and very smart (for example, if a slide door isn’t locked, she will open it, and often does this to let herself out to go the loo) and can get door handles open to snoozle on people’s beds.
She is obedient and trainable and knows basic commands such as “Sit,” “Shake,” and “Stay,” “up”, “down”. She is not very food oriented although she loves her bones and treats. She is sociable with other dogs and likes interacting in dog parks or public spaces.
Nala is fabulous with kids and is very friendly, playful, gentle and caring. She’s also not scared of storms, and not much of a barker.
The only chink in Nala’s perfectness is that she doesn’t like putting on an outfit or costume, so dressing her up as Santa will be out this year. She’s a Very Good Girl with a whole lifetime to love to give. We think she’d do great in a household with kids, and while she’s been fine as an only dog, we think she’d love a doggy buddy similar size.
The usual husky rules apply, with no cats or pocket pets, plus secure 5ft+ dig proof fences, lots of love and daily exercise. Please complete an application if you can offer adoption to Nala.
