The dog rescue community is a small one, and when the team at Colliewobbles Rescue & Rehoming Australia Inc reached out to us with a beautiful husky, called Nelly, who needs a home, we absolutely had to lend a paw.
Nelly is an 11 y/o female Husky who is just a beautiful girl. Nelly is currently in foster care with CRRA President and she has been put through CRRA strict welfare programme, meaning she has received full veterinary examination, treatments and professional grooming.
CRRA will interview potential new owners and complete home inspections before any application is considered as candidate for adoption and we will pass on any applications for to to them to handle.
Nelly has no behaviour issues however has a few special needs related to health, and the CRRA team will speak to you about those directly if you apply. Here is what they have to say about her:
“Nelly is 11 years old, has excellent manners, is house trained and is very affectionate. Being elderly Nelly does have some age related issues that are being well managed with Pentosan Injections & daily medication, but please note these will continue to be ongoing. She is comfortable with other dogs, cats & children & must be allowed to be indoors. She doesn’t need much exercise due to her knee issues but loves her outings, short walks and being curled up on the couch. Nelly is best suited to a retired couple or someone who either works from home or is home most of the time as she really loves being with her human family. Nelly is such a beautiful girl who deserves someone to love her and would be the most amazing Golden Oldie companion for someone.”
