Sadie’s personality has stolen her foster carers heart and she absolutely adores this gorgeous wee girl and wants to find the very best home for her.
Sadie is an energetic stereotypical husky; so don’t let her angelic looks fool you. Sadie is an accomplished escape artist and will require a dig-proof, secure yard in her forever home.
Sadie also has typical husky hearing – she’ll answer (or not) to anything, depending on if there’s food involved, and if she’s in the mood. Digging is her mode of choice for escaping, so high fences and a dig-proof yard are both in order for this little darling. Her prey drive is very keen (and very effective!) so she will surely keep your yard free of possums and other pests (as she’s done for us!).
Sadie is happily residing with two elder male huskies; but she’s everyone’s best friend at the dog park and doggy daycare. She’ll be best in a home with active humans who love to walk and jog, and a young canine companion to keep life interesting.
She’s also great with kids and has been tested on several occasions with young boisterous preschool children, but not yet with babies.
She is an excellent traveller in the car and loves excursions to the park, river and doggy daycare. She’s very affectionate, loves to give kisses and be belly rubbed; and she’s also a real foodie. Quick as a flash she’ll snatch any interesting titbits from an unguarded kitchen bench. She stole a bag of scones that were thawing on the kitchen bench, and off she trotted carrying them in her beautiful little muzzle to go bury them in a “secret” place in the backyard.
