Xephon is a very handsome boy we’re really keen to bust from the pound. We think this boy has the most beautiful future ahead of him, and he really needs the right household and people.
As a pound surrender, we’re still finding out more about him and how we can best support him. He’s lived with a child as young as two, is very friendly towards people he knows (although we’d prefer an older child home if you have children).
Xephon can be nervous around strangers, doesn’t like storms, and needs support to get braver with things like cars (and even leads – he’s been very under-walked and would LOVE regular exercise and some gentle training). He hasn’t had a lot of exposure to the above because of his past and we think some of the nerves are possibly pound related.
The pound team adore him, and we know he loves playing with toys and is darling with people; “he just loves us humans!”. Xephon isquite under socialized with dogs, as he’s had little exposure, and does have some general anxiety – HOWEVER! He’s not doing well in the pound environment (he’s very stressed) and we know that often these dogs are SO different in a calmer, more settled home environment.
He’s in good health overall, been desexed and had dental work and is good to be busted out to start his new life.
He’s a real cuddle bug, loves his treats and playing, super people oriented. He’s delightful! We know Xephon has so much fun and love to give, and he’s so sweet with people. He just needs a gentle hand and lots of love to bring out the best in him. Are you that person?
